Prototype Grant

Who can apply?

1. Standard prototype support up to ₹10 lakh; additional-category provisions need separate assessment (§2.2.1, §2.4).
2. Active recognized incubation and a justified project/budget are required (§2.2.2–2.2.4).
3. Standard 70%/30% installments; the latter depends on utilization evidence and prototype progress (§2.2.11–2.2.14).
4. If sustenance was received, disclose installments, CA utilization and progress records (§2.2.15).

Application steps

1. Read the full policy and the applicable guidelines.
2. Prepare the programme-specific evidence and proposal.
3. Use the authorised application process and respond to any clarification.

Review and approval route

1. The competent departmental process follows the policy and notified guidelines.

SRCE-directed prototype inspection is described in §2.2.14. Timing and evidence follow the assignment.
